When Summer was a young girl, she went to speech therapy. Her therapist was not only a therapist to her, but also an inspiration for her future, opening Summer’s world as she taught her to speak clearly. Now, as Summer works with her vision therapy patients, she hopes to remove similar roadblocks for her patients through helping them see and perceive the world with greater clarity.
Summer is an online student at Harrison Middleton University, completing her BA in Humanities. She and her husband, Jaroslav, were blessed last year with their first child who has been keeping them happily busy ever since.
