“Seven months of therapy has changed this little girl!”

November 25, 2017 Posted by The Editorial Team Testimonials

At 7 years old, our daughter was really struggling learning how to read basic short stories. She would frequently see the first letter in a word and then make up an entirely different word that started with the same letter. She wasn’t able to read a word with too many letters and she mixed letters up a lot. She also found it difficult to sit still while reading. Reading soon became a chore and was never fun or exciting. She had to be pulled out of class for additional tutoring in reading.

Vision Therapy was something new and exciting for our daughter. After two months we found her sitting by herself reading without us asking her! She even started asking if she could take books to read in the car. At that moment we knew that Vision Therapy was working.

Her therapist Adina was very patient with our daughter and pushed her to succeed. She no longer needs the extra tutoring at school, she’s reading chapter books, loves to read to her baby brother and her handwriting has improved. As a side benefit, Vision Therapy has given her more confidence in herself.

Seven months of therapy has changed this little girl! A sincere thank you to Dr. Winters and his professional staff.
