COVID-19 Precautions

April 17, 2020 Posted by Ryan Cook Uncategorized

Dear patients, family, and friends,

As you are all aware, COVID-19 has created quite an impact on our state and daily lives. From school and event cancellations, to affecting the health, and mental and emotional wellbeing of families, we have all been affected.

At Washington Vision Therapy Center, we are taking the risks of infection seriously, and have updated some of our policies accordingly.

Staying safe and sanitizing:
 We are ramping up our normal disinfection protocols for our office space and any shared equipment. We will be trying to use the patient’s own equipment as much as possible to avoid cross-contamination.
 We ask that all patients checking in use hand sanitizer or wash their hands as they come in.
 To encourage social distancing, family members of patients should not come into the office, if at all possible.
 As always, if a patient has a fever, cough, or feels unwell, it is important to cancel the appointment.

If you feel concerned about your appointment being at the same time other patients are in office, please let us know and we will attempt to accommodate you.

We are also aware of the possible adverse economic effect this whole situation may be causing, and are very willing to work with you on a case by case basis. We will continue to make every effort to make the office a safe place, and will keep our doors and services open and available as we all work together.

Thank you for your support.
